Co-organized by The Library of the School of Law, Library and
Information Centre, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

The workshop will introduce participants to the ontologies developed
for the M.E.L.O.S. project, which allow for the semantic organization
of complex music metadata. These ontologies support the classification
and retrieval of diverse music resources, including scores,
recordings, performances, and biographical data. By understanding
these models, participants will gain insights into structuring their
own datasets using adaptable, multi-dimensional metadata models
tailored to music’s unique ontological aspects.
