Το IFLA Health and Biosciences Libraries Section σε συνεργασία με το Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών, στo πλαίσιo του 85ου Παγκόσμιου Συνεδρίου της International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), διοργανώνουν satellite meeting με τίτλο «International and local development that enhance scholarly communication in the biomedical and social sciences».
Το Satellite Meeting θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Παρασκευή 23 Αυγούστου 2019 στο Αμφιθέατρο της Βιβλιοθήκης Επιστημών Υγείας στην Αθήνα, Μ. Ασίας & Δήλου 1, Γουδή.

2. School Libraries Satellite Meeting
Η Βιβλιοθήκη του Κολλεγίου Αθηνών θα φιλοξενήσει στις 23 Αυγούστου 2019 satellite meeting με θέμα School Libraries Guidelines, που διοργανώνεται στο πλαίσιο του Παγκόσμιου Συνεδρίου Βιβλιοθηκών – IFLA WLIC 2019.

6. Grey Literature: Scholarly Communication in a Digital World
Traditionally, Grey Literature has been defined as such not by its quality, but by the limits of its distribution. With the advent of the digital world, these limits have been loosened. At our meeting on Grey Literature, Dr. Tainá Batista de Assis from the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (IBICT) will explore what this means for that traditional element of Grey Literature, theses and dissertations. Join us at the National Library of Greece on Friday 23 August to hear from Dr. Batista de Assis and others on all the exciting aspects of Grey Literature.
